Submission of Abstracts For consideration as a presenter, your 150-word abstract must be submitted online from Wednesday, February 23 through Wednesday, May 4, 2011. The IA reserves the right to limit submissions to one paper per presenter; acceptance is not guaranteed. Your abstract must include concise descriptive content that explains the value of the information. Papers/presentations must be non-proprietary and educational in nature, not sales or product specific. They may include research, programs and case studies. Papers must be presented in English; translators are not permitted. Abstracts must be submitted online no later than Wednesday, May 4, 2011. Presenters will be selected and notified the week of June 20. Upon acceptance, each speaker will be required to submit a $250 publishing fee, as well as a complete written paper, by Wednesday, September 21, 2011 for inclusion in the proceedings CD. IA will retain $50 of the publishing fee, and reimburse the remaining $200 following the presentation of your paper at the conference in San Diego. Should you fail to present your paper in San Diego or fail to submit a written paper, IA will retain the entire $250.
As a benefit, the presenting author will receive a complimentary full registration to the show, which includes access to the exhibits, Innovations in Irrigation Conference, General Session & Keynote, and a copy of the 2011 conference proceedings CD. Travel and hotel expenses will be your responsibility.

If your abstract is selected for publication, the IA holds all rights, title, and interest in the paper submitted to the collection website. In turn, the IA hereby grants to the author a nonexclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce and distribute the paper including the right to sublicense the copyright in the published article, provided that each copy shall include the copyright notice appearing on the published article.
